Damily®, LLC a winery that started after many years of dabbling with the fermentation of natural products that contain sugars which are subsequently converted to alcoholic beverages. We have always been fascinated with the history and ancient methods of wine making with honey and grapes. The decades old art of wine making and dozens of winery tours while enjoying a glass or two or three always seemed to ignite our passion.

The question “why can’t we make our own wine?” came up after touring a winery in San Francisco. Without hesitation or persuasion, we started by making mead from raw unfiltered honey of different flower nectars. Our curiosity with mead is because most mead do not require the addition of sulfites which are preservatives that maintain the flavor and freshness of wine. We received positive and not so positive feedback from family and friends; the positive feedback was from our “sweet tooth” family and friends while the “die-hard, grape wine fanatics” were not as enthused with mead.

We ventured into making grape wine for our “die-hard, grape wine fanatics”. Not only that, we set our foot in the world of affordable personalized wine bottle labels. The feedback surpassed our expectations and that was when we knew we may be on to something. We received enquiries on making wine with customized labels and personalized messages. This was the birth of Damily Wine, a black owned winery that produces and bottles grape wine for personal and corporate events with affordable personalized wine labels in California.

From dreaming of producing the best selling red wine, white wine & the light rose wine in California, to turning our vision into a reality- we sure have come a long way. It gives us absolute delight to hear people sing praises for our Cabernet Sauvignon & Chardonnay wine. We took it a notch higher by producing the absolutely best non-alcoholic wine in California so that the ones avoiding alcohol for some reason, have something great in their glasses.
